Packaging Project Engineer
360 Role in Sales, Service, Installation
My client is an independent, fast-growing packaging company specializing in machinery sales, service, and installation. The company has expanded throughout the UK and into Europe, creating a need for a Project Engineer.
As a Project Engineer, you should have an engineering or technical background. Your goal is to increase productivity and efficiency by working closely with sales teams on site, designing, and planning for production.
You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating on factory layouts of various sizes, and taking ownership of installation and commissioning processes.
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience. However, experienced engineers within the packaging sector with some project management experience, especially those with a background in food manufacturing or similar environments, will also be considered.
Core Tasks
* Visiting clients for initial engineering clarification
* Identifying potential bottlenecks and providing solutions
* Acting as the link between machinery suppliers and clients
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Engineering qualification
* At least three years of project management experience
