Overview
We are looking for a Power BI Report Writer to join our Finance team.
We require an experienced Developer/Analyst to utilise the business intelligence suite through support, development and implementation of effective reports and enhancing processes to ensure data integrity.
You willbe responsible forproducing business intelligence reports and provide solutions that for fill stakeholder needs, by utilising the following applications: Power BI, Business Objects, SAP/data interrogation tools and SQL.
The business will introduce Power BI in the months ahead and this willemergeas the main tool within our reporting suite. The right individual will understand how to build,manipulateand construct datasets in a way that will articulate andprovidemanagement insight across the business.
The right individual will be solution focused, analyticallymindedand have excellent communication skills. You willbe responsible forthe development and maintenance of all company reports, using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence and Microsoft Power BI.
Responsibilities
* Report Construction – Design, devlop and maintain business intelligence solutions driving business performance, ensuring they meet stakeholder acceptance criteria.
* Analysis – Create and manage data including associated analytics that turn our data into knowledge that helps us to make better decisions.
* Request Monitoring – Maintenance of the BI request system (ticket system) ensuring appropriate documentation and audit trail leading to report sign off and stakeholder management.
* Complaince – Compliance with the information security protocols. Ensuring all client confidential and highly restricted reports have received appropriately reviewed and sign off.
* Business Paternering – Highlighting the direct value of BI and related analytics to the business, showcasing new data vehicles and concepts. Translate complex data structure to different stakeholders across the business, in order to determine reporting requirements and what is feasible. Become the power BI champion training key users across the business to leverage any self-service tools where required.
* Process Improvement – Evaluate BI system, improvements and processes highlighting the findings to management.
Essential requirements
* Significant experience in business reporting
* Can demonstrate implementing effective reporting solutions and process development
* Power BI Certification
* SQL
The successful applicant will be based in Milton Keynes or surrounding areas.
