Were seeking an experienced and hands-on production professional to support and develop production operations, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across all processes. The Role As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and team performance is optimised. Youll work closely with production management, engineering, and planning teams to deliver on operational goals while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Support and develop a team of production operatives, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations. Monitor and report on key production metrics (KPIs) such as efficiency, downtime, and quality performance. Assist with production planning and resource allocation to meet changing demands. Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity. Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues promptly. About You 35 years experience in a production or manufacturing supervision role within an industrial environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Good understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement, or Six Sigma principles. Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities. Experience in sectors such as industrial manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or aerospace is advantageous.
