We are delighted to offer an internal opportunity in the Research Excellence & Impact Team as a Research Data Administrator, supporting the University’s REF 2029 preparations. This part‑time, fixed‑term position (12 months) is based at the University of Salford in Salford, United Kingdom.
Salary: £28,031 – £29,588 per year.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer internal and external peer review (IPR/EPR) processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.
* Maintain and update records within research information systems (e.g., Worktribe), ensuring high levels of data accuracy and confidentiality.
* Coordinate workflows by allocating tasks, monitoring progress, and sending reminders to support timely completion.
* Provide administrative and user support to academic and professional services colleagues, resolving routine queries.
* Prepare reports, data exports, and summaries, and contribute to improving guidance, processes, and system use.

The Research Excellence & Impact Team sits within the Research & Knowledge Exchange Directorate and supports the University’s research strategy and REF 2029 preparations. Working closely with academic Schools and professional services, the team ensures the effective coordination, review, and reporting of research outputs and impact.
