* Conducting inspections, checks and reviews across multiple properties
* Ensuring timely completion of remedial actions
* Maintaining safe systems of work across plant, equipment, fire safety, water hygiene and more
* Investigating significant incidents, near misses and complaints
* Producing root cause analysis and targeted improvement plans
* Supporting reporting requirements and regulatory notifications
Culture, Training & Engagement
* Promoting a positive, proactive safety culture
* Supporting the design and delivery of safety training
* Leading drills, exercises and scenario‑based learning
* Reviewing RAMS, managing permits to work, and ensuring safe site operations
* Helping plan and oversee safety for major events at ICC Wales and across The Collection
* Maintaining clear, current and effective emergency procedures
You’ll be highly visible, trusted and hands‑on, the kind of person teams naturally turn to for guidance.
What we’re looking for
* A Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety (and willingness to progress to Level 5 if not already held)
* Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation, fire safety and related compliance areas
* Experience conducting audits, investigations and safety inspections
* Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills
* A calm, pragmatic approach with outstanding attention to detail
* Experience in hospitality or multi‑site environments
* Ability to train, coach and influence at all levels
* Membership of a recognised professional body
* Food Safety knowledge (L3)
If you’re proactive, pragmatic and motivated by helping others succeed safely, we’d love to meet you.
Where you’ll be based
This is a multi‑site role across The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales.
You will spend a minimum of two days per week onsite at ICC Wales, with flexibility to visit other properties as needed.
Some evening and weekend work is required to support events, drills and emergency readiness.
