We operate 24/7, requiring flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties. Full training, PPE, and equipment will be provided to ensure our drainage engineers are equipped to perform to high standards, regardless of background or experience.
Position: Drainage Engineer
Location: Tonbridge Depot, Kent
Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off, 40.25 hours/week average
Salary: £27,300 per annum

About The Role
Joining our Utility Division on the Southern Water contract, you'll deliver solutions for wastewater network and drainage issues, working in teams to restore and maintain drainage systems, and providing excellent customer service.
* Travel to sites via HGV, using high-pressure water jets.
* Maintain and clean drainage systems.
* Accurately record job reports and diagnostics.
* Deliver customer service and maintain health and safety standards.
* Ensure vehicle stock levels.
* Utilize VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
* Liaise with clients regarding progress.
* Work independently in all weather conditions, assessing risks dynamically.
* Support colleagues and conduct safety inspections.
* Report defects and perform risk assessments.
* Adhere to company policies and perform additional duties as needed.

About You
The ideal candidate is hardworking, respectful, and safety-conscious. Experience with High Pressure Jetting is useful but not essential. Drainage qualifications like NRSWA or Confined Spaces are advantageous.
