Job Description
The Customer Liaison Officer will work directly in the community alongside our Operational teams, interacting face-to-face with external customers. Responsibilities include providing information about utilities work, capturing personal data, and obtaining feedback post-completion. The role involves delivering customer feedback to operational teams and coaching them on improving customer scores and comments.
Responsibilities
* Act as an ambassador for the client, engaging with customers, the public, and stakeholders impacted by our work.
* Present a professional and reassuring image of the company.
* Communicate effectively with customers to inform, advise, educate, and support them regarding our work.
* Support operational teams in their communication efforts.
* Exemplify customer service excellence both publicly and in the office or depots.
* Collaborate with site managers and operational teams on the doorstep.
* Maximize customer satisfaction and minimize complaints.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in face-to-face customer service roles.
* Conscientious with determination to complete tasks.
* Organized and punctual.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good record-keeping skills.
* IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable
* Experience in the utilities industry.
Qualifications
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Essential).
* A-levels or a degree in English (Desirable).
