The OCI organization is the physical infrastructure support team that provides operational, logistical and compliance support for Oracle Data Center’s globally.
The Team - Program Management, Audit, Security & Safety Team (PASS)
The Program Management, Audit, Security & Safety Team (PASS) provides compliance services for Audit, Physical Security, Access Management, and Environment, Health & Safety for the OCI organization. The PASS team operates at a global scale supporting all stages of the data center lifecycle from market selection through build to operations and ultimately, decommission.
The Role – EMEA/Western Asia Physical Security Program Manager
Physical Security Infrastructure Program Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Physical Security Infrastructure Program Manager, specializing in data center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering security infrastructure projects for locations within the regional area. Your primary focus will be on coordination amongst internal and external stakeholders for delivery and sustainment of the Oracle security systems and operations. You will also be responsible for tracking, reporting and cross-org accountability for complex deliverables through our JIRA Ticket Management system.
The Ideal Candidate
1. The perfect candidate will have years of experience in portfolio management for infrastructure build outs
2. The right candidate(s) will demonstrate a strong ability to navigate rapidly changing work scope and the ability to lead with experience and expertise.
3. Work as a point of coordination for gathering data and information related to ticket management within the build phases, continuous monitoring, or risk management areas.
4. Have a working understanding of security system equipment such as Access Control and CCTV.
5. Help drive continuous review of existing standards to ensure they align with audit framework requirements or corporate requirements.
6. Drive notification, reporting, escalation, and resolution of physical security risk, incidents, and findings within OCI.
7. Certifications related to compliance or physical security are a plus
As the Security Infrastructure Program Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Global Physical Security Systems and Operations teams to effective communication and deliver services among different groups with varying priorities and work methodologies in addition to diverse geographic locations. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be crucial in connecting individuals and fostering collaborative efforts. The partnership with the Global Physical Security Team is critical to the delivery of excellence security at Oracle Data Centers.
This is the role that pulls all the supporting teams work processes together into a cohesive project overview and provide delivery accountability. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Your ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams and provide educational support will be essential in ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment within our data centers.
Day In the Life
8. 7:00 am - 8:00 am: Start the day with an early morning meeting with stakeholders from the EMEA region. Discuss ongoing projects, address any concerns or updates, and ensure alignment on security goals.
9. 8:00 am - 11:00 am: Participate in US and EMEA build calls to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security protocols are followed during construction activities.
10. 11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Manage emails, ticketing system, slack and handle any urgent tasks.
11. 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch Break Stretches to reset your body.
12. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Attend stakeholder meetings with teams AMER regions. Discuss ongoing projects, address any concerns or updates, and ensure alignment on safety goals.
13. 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Allocate time for ticketing system management and wrap up any pending tasks. Address any outstanding safety concerns or requests.
Occasionally late evening meetings to support workscope.
Throughout the day, maintain open communication with stakeholders, address inquiries promptly, and collaborate with teams to ensure a safe and compliant environment within the data centers.
