The role
Site Manager - Civil (HVDC Project) Contract / Freelance Scope Responsible for all civil works on site (foundations, buildings, drainage, roads) within an HVDC project environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily civil construction activities and subcontractors Ensure delivery against schedule, quality, and cost targets Coordinate interfaces with E&I, installation, and commissioning teams Oversee site logistics, permits, and work sequences Enforce HSE and quality standards across all civil scope Report progress, risks, and deviations to project leadership Requirements Proven Site Manager experience on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects Strong background in heavy civil works (concrete, earthworks, structural) Experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary sites Solid knowledge of HSE and site compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight timelines Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
