About the Role
In this role, you’ll be a key part of a dedicated Maths department, delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your teaching will go beyond just covering the curriculum — it will ignite curiosity, build confidence, and help students make meaningful progress, no matter their starting point.
You’ll be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning needs
Create a positive, focused classroom environment through clear routines and consistent behaviour management
Inspire students to see the value and beauty of Mathematics — not just as a subject, but as a skill for life
Use assessment and feedback effectively to drive progress and raise attainment
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department where ideas are shared and professional growth is encouraged

Understands the importance of well-structured, engaging lessons to maintain student focus and drive outcomes

Has experience teaching across a range of abilities and can differentiate effectively
Is reflective, open to feedback, and committed to continuous professional development
