3.5 Tonne Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress. This role will be ongoing for the right candidate and would suit an applicant looking for a role as a Van Delivery Driver, Courier or Multi-Drop Driver. You must be aged 21 or over for our client's insurance purposes. Shifts: Monday - Friday: early and late shifts Rates of Pay: £13.00 - £16.72 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a 3.5 Tonne Driver are: Guaranteed ongoing work - rota will be given weekly in advance Opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidates Guaranteed to be paid a minimum of five hours shift Weekly pay - this is a PAYE vacancy so holidays accrued separately Site parking Close to motorway links Site canteen and vending machines Immediate starts Training provided and paid Day to Day Duties Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver are: Assisting with the loading and unloading of your vehicle at the start and end of each shift Delivering goods from warehouse to stores and collecting returns from stores (between six to eight stores per day) Working any four nights from seven - you will receive your rota a week in advance Working a minimum of five hours per shifts - shifts can be anywhere between five to ten hours per day Report any vehicles defects or maintenance needs Provide excellent customer service skills Essential Skills The skills required as a 3.5 Tonne Driver are: Valid UK Category B Driving Licence Must have held licence for minimum of two years No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN,DR,DD,CD convictions on licence can be accepted) Must be over 21 years old for client's insurance purposes Good communication skills - both written and verbal Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial Training A paid site induction will be given following a successful theory and driving assessment Minimum of three training shifts alongside an experienced driver Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
