Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative / Handyman to assist with reactive repairs and maintenance at a student accommodation site. Responsibilities include:
* Performing reactive maintenance tasks such as plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
* Moving furniture and heavy items within the premises.
* Maintaining lighting and conducting statutory testing.
* Responding appropriately to health and safety issues.
* Managing electronic maintenance reports and updating records.
* Monitoring stock levels and informing management when supplies need replenishing.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in repairs and maintenance within residential or construction environments, with skills in plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
