Are you an Electrical Engineer with FMCG manufacturing experience looking for a new exciting challenging role? This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where technical expertise and a proactive mindset are essential to keeping production lines moving.
You will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repair of a wide range of sophisticated food processing and packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime, alongside scheduled electrical inspections.
* Fault-finding and basic programming on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi).
* Ensuring all electrical work meets standards and adheres to regulations.
* Identifying opportunities to enhance machinery efficiency and safety protocols.
* Assisting with new equipment installations and site-wide electrical upgrades.
Requirements
* Level 3 NVQ/City and Guilds in Electrical installation
* City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
* Must hold a valid 18th Edition (BS7671) certification
* Experience working in a fast-paced factory environment
* Proven ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex control circuits
* A safety-first approach with the ability to work independently under pressure
