Summary:
The ICT Support Technician willbe a key member of the ICT Team providing remote support to allemployees across the UK offering technical assistancetroubleshooting and resolving IT issues. Responsibilities willrange from 1st line support managing end user devices through toassisting in implementation of bespoke ITprojects.
Duties andResponsibilities:
* Bean active and supportive member of the ICT team working incollaboration and autonomously to meet the needs of theorganisation.
* Act as first line response fordaily ICT requests through the online helpdesk software and dealingwith any queries escalating requests or jobs to relevant othermembers the ICT team as required.
* Maintain andupdate the Helpdesk knowledge base.
* Using theGroups remote access software to manage and deal with basic 1stlevel requests to provide remote support to end users.
* Maintain the hardware and software asset registers.
* Managing the build configuration &issue and return of IT devices to & from endusers.
* Manage the resolution of hardwareissues through manufacturers or 3rd partysuppliers.
* Flexibility and ability to visitother Group sites to provide support training or assist withhardware/software installations whenrequired.
Skills/Qualifications(Required):
* A minimumof 12 years of experience working in an IT helpdesk/technician orsimilar role.
* A working knowledge offundamental operations of relevant software and hardware includingWindows Desktop/Server and Microsoft 365 Office applications.
* Ability to use and offer support on ActiveDirectory Windows and Office 365 and other common desktop/cloudapplications.
* Working Knowledge of serviceticketing applications.
* Ability to installconfigure and manage hardware including PC Printers and networkingequipment.
* Full UK drivingLicense.
* Certifications such as CompTIA ANetwork or Microsoft certifications would be aplus.
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs C and above(including Maths and English)

* Theability to adaptable and learn quickly
* Acustomer service orientation
* Good multitaskingskills
* Problem analysis and problemsolvingabilities
