The Job
Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Journals, accruals and prepayments
Support business partnering across the business
Working with commercial and operational teams to understand financial activity
Support budgeting and financial reporting
Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting of key variances to management, working closely with commercial and operational teams.
Assist with Analysis of P&L variances
Assistance with annual external audit
Other ad-hoc duties and cover for team members as required
The successful candidate will:
Be studying towards a qualification (AAT) or ACCA, CIMA
Commercially astute
Driven to improve processes and improved ways of working
Driven and motivated
Experience of inter-company transactions
Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
Organised and able to work accurately
Professional and engaging
