Customer Delivery Driver pay starts from £13.35 per hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
New colleagues are offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; if you prefer fewer hours (minimum 12), opportunities are available and we would still love to hear from you.
The company lists the availability windows and will schedule contracted hours within these times. You will receive 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are flexible if your available times do not exactly match the advertised windows.

As a Tesco Customer Delivery Driver, you will meet and talk to customers in their homes. This role involves more than driving: delivering great service with a smile and helping customers is key.
The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. Shifts differ, with on-site team support from Managers and colleagues when needed.

You will be responsible for
Delivering your part of the customer shopping trip by:
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organised
* Leaving the back yard clean and litter-free
* Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
* Loading the van and checking vehicle roadworthiness
* Discussing order changes with customers, including substitutions, and offering refunds where needed
* Handling products with care as if they were your own
* Explaining substitutions will not incur extra charges
* Delivering within the scheduled time slot
* Calling the customer before arriving if early
* Calling the store if running 30 minutes or more late
Requirements
* Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit
* Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
* Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace store changes
* Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations while balancing work and life
* Share ideas with management to improve the store
* Valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
