Hours: 36 hours per week, Fixed Term – Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dedicated administration team within the Catering Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, self‑motivated person with excellent IT and keyboard skills.
The successful candidate will be a confident team player who can work with minimal supervision and prioritize their daily workload, meet varied service demands, and maintain confidentiality. Good communication skills and a pleasant personality with excellent customer relationship skills for daily communication with colleagues and suppliers are required.
Qualifications and Experience
* RSA II Typing or equivalent keyboard experience
* Educated to standard grade level (includes English)
* SVQ II Administration or equivalent experience
* European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent education or experience
* Previous office/administration experience with meeting deadlines
* Maintenance of computerised data in electronic and manual form, including processing orders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, email, and Pecos
* Good communication skills, pleasant personality, excellent customer relationships for daily communication with colleagues and suppliers; accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize workload to enable deadlines to be met
* Problem solving ability
* Confidential manner
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
