We are looking for talented individuals to join our workforce in a role that provides clerical and administrative support to the licensing service, ensuring high standards of efficiency and compliance with legal requirements.
About the Role
As a Licensing Support Officer you will be working as part of a team to provide clerical and administrative support to the licensing service that is to a high standard and operated in an efficient and friendly manner and in line with the legal requirements, in particular:
* Answering licensing enquiries and when necessary advising on the requirements of various licenses and registrations;
* Liaising with Council officers and outside agencies in order to progress applications;
* Producing forms, documents and correspondence on databases and using Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel;
* Maintenance of records and files;
* Taking card payments
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Worked with customers in a regulatory environment to promote legal requirements and good practice
* Demonstrate your ability to plan and manage a reactive workload to meet legislative and corporate deadlines
* Have used information technology in the workplace
* This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
Salary, Location and Working Arrangements
* Salary: Starting Salary is £26,824 - £27,694 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
* Location: Tamar Building, Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham, NG2 3AH
* Working Hours: 37 hours per week
* Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
* Contract Type: Two Permanent Posts
