Job Description:

The role involves developing professional relationships with clients, insurance companies, and agency personnel to maintain accounts and foster a positive working environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage daily client account activities, including policy reviews, updates, contract reviews, renewals, marketing, negotiations, and financial documentation.
2. Assist in establishing and maintaining carrier relationships.
3. Maintain accurate client files in AMS, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
4. Handle client inquiries and coordinate with insurance partners and internal teams to resolve issues.
5. Understand the requirements and attributes of all insurance company partners and stay informed about company resources.
6. Coordinate service delivery, including developing placement and renewal strategies.
7. Stay updated on regulatory changes.
8. Complete special projects as assigned.
9. Seek opportunities for process and business improvements and escalate issues appropriately.
10. Mentor colleagues as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Ability to build relationships with insurance markets and carriers.
2. Strong technical knowledge of insurance market conditions and underwriting appetites.
3. Proficiency in Excel for managing large data spreadsheets.
4. Ability to analyze risk exposures and develop client recommendations.
5. Teamwork skills and relationship-building within the firm.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum 4 years of related insurance or industry experience.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred.
3. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary state insurance licenses within 90 days of employment.
