Role Overview

This is a 100% new business sales role focused on building strong relationships with decision makers in Retail, Hospitality, and F&B segments, particularly merchants with strong international footfall. The goal is to secure new customers for our core suite of products and services (Gateway, Acquiring, DCC, Tax Free). The asset will work closely with the Sales Director, Key and Global Account Managers, Sales Support, Marketing, Product, Operations, Legal, GTM, and wider teams to sell our solutions and secure high customer satisfaction.

What you will do

* Lead the review and segmentation of opportunities in the Retail, Hospitality, and F&B sectors and build commercial business cases to support investments.
* Develop an annual Sales Development plan and nurture a pipeline of opportunities.
* Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Maximize revenue opportunities and ensure business profitability.
* Manage customer relationships until they are transitioned to an Account Manager.
* Respond professionally and promptly to customer/partner queries.
* Coordinate with supporting departments to resolve issues satisfactorily.
* Complete sales documentation accurately, including quotations, proposals, and tenders.
* Lead the creation and delivery of new business presentations.
* Keep the CRM system updated with actions, customer, and opportunity information in line with KPIs.
* Provide timely and accurate information to managers and internal departments.
* Contribute to the broader sales team by sharing ideas to achieve objectives.
* Promote the company professionally and effectively.
* Perform any additional duties deemed in the best interest of the company and its customers.

Who you are

* Proven experience in B2B new business sales, preferably in retail, hospitality, F&B merchant acquiring, or related industries.
* Experience selling to operations, IT, or finance stakeholders, with understanding of retail, hospitality, and F&B technology.
* Knowledge of current sales techniques and developing sales pipelines and plans.
* Track record of managing and delivering on new business targets.
* Knowledge of UK retail, hospitality, and F&B industries or related IT solutions is advantageous.
* Understanding of Card Acquiring, DCC, payment solutions, Tax Free, EPOS systems, e-commerce dynamics is a plus.
* Knowledge of card scheme pricing models and experience negotiating merchant acquiring agreements.
* Familiarity with card scheme rules affecting merchant acquiring services.
* Strong interpersonal, networking, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Organizational, planning, and sales preparation skills.
* Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
* Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other corporate IT tools.
* Experience working within a complex international matrix organization.
