We're looking for an experienced IT Development Lead to take lead and ownership of a major customer portal development project. This is a 12-month outside IR35 contract, offering you the chance to lead a high-profile initiative using cutting-edge Microsoft technologies.
You'll be the client's go-to technical authority, providing leadership and guidance across the entire delivery lifecycle. The portal will be built using Azure services, React and .NET and you'll ensure vendors are delivering quality and within timelines.
This is a hands‑on leadership role combining technical oversight, vendor management and delivery responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
* Mentoring internal teams and managing third‑party vendors.
* Owning the delivery of the portal: overseeing development, managing stakeholders and ensuring timelines and quality are met.
* Leading the transition to a live environment, setting up support processes and preparing operational teams for long‑term management.
* Driving knowledge transfer so internal teams can confidently take ownership post‑delivery.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience leading complex software development projects.
* Strong technical background in Microsoft stack such as Azure Services and .NET, as well as experience with React.
* Excellent stakeholder management and vendor management skills.
* Ability to design and implement robust support and transition processes.
