We are recruiting a Head Chef on behalf of a vey popular modern Pakistani cuisine restaurant in world famous city of Edinburgh, and within the landmark Leith Walk location.This tastefully designed venue offers a refined yet relaxed dining experience, with a menu that blends traditional flavours of Lahore with contemporary culinary creativity. Position: Head Chef
Employer: Renowned Pakistani Cuisine Restaurant
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Gross salary package: circa £45,000 (incl. share of tronc/serv.chge+target led bonus)
Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days

As Head Chef you will lead kitchen operations and deliver exceptional Lahori style Pakistani cuisine. Youll be responsible for supervising junior chefs, managing food preparation and presentation, overseeing purchasing and stock control, and maintaining food cost and gross profit targets. Youll also handle relevant administrative duties and contribute to menu development.
To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements: -
Eligibility to live and work in UK
Experience in the preparation of authentic high-quality Pakistani dishes and adept in all aspects of Pakistan culinary arts
Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in role of Head Chef, plus at least 7 years in preceeding professional roles
Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
Computer literacy, plus sound financial + business acumen
Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
