REF: MA53929 Job Title: Part Time Accounts Assistant Industry: Architecture Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent Location: London Salary Guide: £40,000 - £50,000 pro rata, depending on experience Overview Our client, a highly prestigious architectural firm, is seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant to support the finance and operational teams for 3 days a week. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring the accurate data recording of financial transactions and accurate posting of transactions as well as other general tasks. Description Responsibilities for this Part Time Accounts Assistant role will include, but are not limited to: Raise monthly sales invoices. Raise monthly project rechargeable expense invoices. Process staff expenses, check receipts, correct discrepancies and summarise expenses for approval. Chase missing credit card receipts, correct discrepancies and post into the system after approval. Ad hoc assistance with bank and purchase ledger postings. Support the front of house function as required for cover during lunch, afternoons and busy periods. Skills The skills and experience required for this Part Time Accounts Assistant role include, but are not limited to: Previous experience working in a similar role. A good understanding of accounting entries is required. Proficient in using financial accounting software. Previous experience working within an engineering or architectural design firm. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data. Clear and confident communicator. Ability to develop effective working relationships across teams.
