We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead within the North Cumbria East Community Treatment Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to develop their clinical and leadership skills while supporting the development of services across adult treatment pathways.
The successful candidate will join the collective leadership team across North Cumbria.
This is an exciting time as we move towards transforming community services in line with the Community Mental Health Framework, focusing on holistic care and the needs of the whole person, collaborating with community and voluntary service partners, primary care services, and the local authority to support a sustainable recovery journey for our service users, their families, and carers.
The post holder should demonstrate experience and ability in multi-agency working, service development, and have an understanding of the Long Term Plan and community transformation.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care to service users within the designated pathway.
2. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment packages within the pathway.
3. Provide clinical advice, leadership, and supervision to staff.
4. Contribute to staff appraisal and personal development.
5. Organise and deliver appropriate clinical training to ensure the highest standards of evidence-based interventions.
6. Demonstrate clinical excellence in reasoning and decision-making for complex cases.
7. Lead and ensure robust, timely clinical audits.
8. Lead team development and practitioner performance where applicable.
9. Participate in the Point of Contact rota, including occasional weekend and evening shifts.

Skills and Competencies
* Leadership and delegation skills

* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience within a community-based multidisciplinary team
* Supporting staff in clinical service provision
* Managing a clinical caseload flexibly
* Providing clinical supervision for evidence-based practice
* Experience working with families and carers
* Experience in auditing and implementing action plans
Education & Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse / Registered Learning Disability Nurse or equivalent
* Relevant postgraduate clinical training
* Therapy qualification (e.g., CBT, Family Therapy)
