Senior D365 Finance Consultant (Real Estate)
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
We are seeking a gold-standard D365 Finance Consultant to take ownership of the design, configuration, optimisation, and continuous evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance platform.
This is not a support role. It is a high-impact position requiring a consultant who can operate as a trusted adviser to the CFO, Group Finance, and regional finance teams translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality D365 Finance solutions.
You will play a critical role in shaping the finance systems landscape across a multi-entity, multi-country real estate environment, ensuring best-in-class architecture, governance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Ownership & Architecture
* Own the end-to-end D365 Finance solution architecture across a complex, multi-entity and multi-country structure
* Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with long-term business strategy
* Define and govern:
* Chart of Accounts strategy
* Financial dimensions framework
* Intercompany processing rules
* Lead architectural decision-making, balancing configuration vs customisation with a focus on maintainability and upgrade readiness
* Manage D365 Finance release cycles, including regression testing and environment strategy (Sandbox, UAT, Production)
What We’re Looking For
* Proven, hands-on expertise across core D365 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Intercompany)
* Strong experience within real estate or asset-intensive environments (essential)
* Demonstrable experience owning or leading D365 Finance implementations or transformations
* Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership (CFO-level)
* Deep understanding of finance processes, controls, and compliance in multi-entity organisations
* Experience working in international environments with multiple legal entities and currencies
