The Role
We are seeking a Compliance Manager that has energy, structure and likes being part of a fast paced, collaborative team environment.Reporting to the Head of Global Compliance, this role will be crucial in managing key compliance tasks and initiatives. Supporting the Head of Global Compliance, this position will play a key role in shaping the regulatory environment the company operates within.
You'll spend your time:
·Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and supporting on global regulatory applications
·Supporting in the drafting and reviewing of policies and procedures, ensuring the correct process is followed including version, date control and sign off
·Managing compliance and business accreditations
·Responsibility for sales and marketing compliance
·Responsible for consumer duty actions across the business
·Educations and enforcement of policies and procedures across the business
·Organising and taking part in Compliance Audits
·Supervising the Risk and Compliance Administrator and their daily tasks
·Managing the compliance monitoring plan
·Supporting with Due Diligence requests
·Answering queries through the Compliance Team’s mailbox
·Ad-hoc compliance tasks as and when required
Key attributes, skills & experience:
Essential
·Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Compliance department in the financial industry, preferably payments/e-money sector
·Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Compliance Manager – managing both tasks and people
·Retail Financial Sector experience
·Regulatory knowledge and experience working on regulatory applications
·Experience in drafting Policies and Procedures
·Detail orientated
·Organisational skills
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Time-management skills
·Ability to work under pressure
Self-motivation and ability to understand responsibility is essential for this role. Training and support are always on hand, but we expect the successful candidate to identify the tasks and have a passion for quality and be able to execute on time.
