Overview
The Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will work as part of the community Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service to undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and related duties as delegated by the Bladder and Bowel Nurse Specialist, under their direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you contribute to delivering safe, effective, compassionate patient care in the patient's home, residential homes or a clinic setting. This job description is to be read in conjunction with the person specification for this role.

Responsibilities
* Undertake reassessments of patients in both the patient's own home and residential care settings.
* Provide health promotion to patients and their carers/relatives whenever possible, helping to prevent early admission into residential care due to poor continence management.
* Work with good interpersonal skills and a caring person-centred approach as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
* Experience in health and social care with NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* A full driving licence and car owner/driver are essential.
