Basic Salary: £30,338 - £37,444.68 per annum (Dependent on experience)

We are excited to invite a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our vibrant team at Foster Care Associates. Based in Melton, our office supports a hybrid working model, allowing for some flexibility to work from home. You will occasionally travel to our regional office in Sheffield and visit foster parents and children in their homes.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care.
* Supervise, support, and monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensure foster carers understand their roles, competencies, and the standards expected, including FCA policies and procedures.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate in a team parenting approach to identify needs within the foster family, including respite and activities.
* Maintain compliance in all key documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual care packages.
* Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development and local community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you must have:
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* The willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Yorkshire/Humberside/Lincs area.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full driving licence.
