We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Luton on a long‑term supply basis from January 2026. You’ll deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement across the science curriculum, helping students build confidence and secure strong outcomes. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3–KS4 (ability to contribute to KS5/A‑Level is desirable). Assess, mark and provide timely feedback to support progress for all learners. Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment. Contribute to department planning, meetings and, where appropriate, whole‑school activities/CPD. Candidate Requirements Proven experience teaching Science in UK secondary settings is essential. QTS or ECT status is desirable (strong unqualified teachers with significant experience also considered). Strong behaviour management, communication and differentiation skills. Right to work in the UK; willingness to complete all compliance checks. Desirable Experience teaching GCSE Science; A‑Level experience advantageous.
