My client is a leader in the waste and recycling industry, operating a large and complex fleet that plays a critical role in delivering essential services. As part of an ongoing programme of investment and transformation, they are seeking a Head of Fleet to provide strategic leadership across fleet, plant, and asset management.

This is a senior, influential role with responsibility for shaping long-term fleet strategy, driving compliance and operational excellence, and accelerating the transition to sustainable, low-carbon fleet solutions.

The Role

1. Lead and deliver a future-focused fleet strategy across acquisition, lifecycle, and maintenance
2. Oversee fleet procurement and major capital investment programmes
3. Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and operator licensing requirements
4. Manage capital budgets for fleet replacement.
