Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - £17 per hour
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 2-4 weeks
Pay Rate: £17 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business based in Welwyn Garden City on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounts payable experience who is immediately available and able to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing high-volume purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Matching, batching, and coding invoices
Managing supplier queries and reconciling statements
Preparing payment runs and assisting with month-end processes
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident with accounting software and Excel
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Immediate availability
