Parkside School, a historic boys' prep school with a thriving co-educational nursery, is embarking on an exciting new chapter as it prepares to welcome girls into the prep school from September 2025. This marks a significant step in the school’s rich history, as it continues to provide exceptional education and opportunities for all pupils. We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher to teach our pupils across KS2 and KS3, as well as the ability to teach one other curriculum subject.
We welcome applications from Early Careers Teachers as well as experienced senior teachers, but above all we are seeking an exceptional individual to ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning in our pupils.
Some Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective age appropriate lessons for your designated subject
2. Maintain and develop the quality and standards of teaching and learning in your subject department through proper standards of professional performance at all times.
3. Assist with the evaluation of standards and levels of achievement and tracking pupils’ progress.
4. Assist with providing evidence of data analysis on: target setting and benchmarking.
5. Maintain a team-teaching culture within the Department in line with the whole School approach.
6. Make full use of ICT and other technologies to enhance your teaching programmes.
