What you will do Oversee the management, maintenance, and utilisation of the council's vehicle fleet, including cars, vans, and specialist vehicles. Manage vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs, and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor and control fleet budgets, procurement, and lifecycle management of vehicles. Implement and oversee fleet policies, including driver safety, telematics, and fuel efficiency initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements Relevant qualification in fleet management, transport, engineering, or logistics is desirable. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Transport Management is a plus. A track record of continued professional development. Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and operator licensing requirements. Full UK driving licence required.
