As Commissioning Vessel Client Commissioning Representative, you will be responsible for the day to day reporting of commissioning activities alongside our WTG OEM whilst supporting our Dogger Bank Commissioning team. Each stage of the commissioning progress and quality execution of turbine OEM works.
The key aspect of your role will be engagement with the commissioning teams, ensuring safety critical SSOW documentation is in place and assure our contractors follow Work Instructions and SHE documents thoroughly.
Description:
1. Supporting Dogger Bank offshore Teams.
2. Assisting and supporting site activities to assure safe, full and effective use of safe systems of work and correct use of work instructions and associated SHE documentation in accordance with the Project’s contracts and procedures.
3. Coordinating vessel meetings between contractor, vessel management and Dogger Bank.
4. Interfacing between Contractors and Project teams on commissioning scopes onshore and offshore helping to efficiently and safely complete the commissioning and handover of turbines offshore.
5. Ensure all Daily Progress reports are accurate and fully complete daily, following companies reporting procedure.
Requirements:
* All GWO / HUET + CA-EBS /Offshore Medical and Chester Step Test
* Knowledge and understanding of offshore wind farm construction, commissioning and/or operations or a similar industrial sector. Knowledge of wind turbine technology.
* A relevant technical education or apprenticeship, preferably within Naval Architecture or similar experience
* Ability to follow work instructions and verify commissioning activities are complying including communicating with contractor and project teams.
* Co-ordinate and plan simultaneous operations between all contractors.
* Confident with Client’s Values, Vision and Goals, including implementing our Safety Family objectives and safe ways of working
* Rotational Work offshore on the Project Commissioning SOV’s will be required routinely.
