Overview
The Directorate of Medical Education at NHS Tayside is recruiting two Medical Education Administrators to join their team. These roles support the teaching and training within the health board and help ensure NHS Tayside delivers the General Medical Council and NHS Education Scotland requirements for teaching and training. The post holder will work with a team of Administrators to support learners, teachers and trainers, and will be given their own portfolio of duties/responsibilities. The posts provide coordination and administrative support for the delivery of Medical Education within NHS Tayside, including quality assurance of medical education activities, improving the quality of medical education delivery and recording teaching and training in job plans and appraisal.
Responsibilities
* Provide pivotal coordination and administrative support for the delivery of Medical Education within NHS Tayside.
* Support learners, teachers and trainers in NHS Tayside.
* Assist with quality assurance of medical education activities and improvements in the quality of medical education delivery.
* Support recording of teaching and training in job plans and appraisal.
* Ensure compliance with relevant requirements from the General Medical Council and NHS Education Scotland where applicable.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Compliance with the national Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009 and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week.
