What You Will Be Doing
* Work as part of a team to provide a professional and caring service to all patients.
* Provide the highest standards of clinical and personal care within the inter-hospital and pre-hospital environment, within your scope of practice.
* Respond to operational requirements safely and efficiently as directed by the Emergency Control Centre.
* Respond to the clinical requirements of the patient, following directions from a senior clinician on scene or remotely, according to the clinical guidelines/protocols.
* Support the lead clinician by providing effective clinical care using appropriate knowledge and skills to assist with professional judgement, diagnostic procedures, and safe, effective treatments.
* Drive all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.
Role Requirements
* Hold a UK manual ‘Category B’ driving licence for at least 1 year and no more than 6 points on your licence.
* Hold a FREC 4 or equivalent qualification and an emergency driving qualification.
* Physical fitness required; able to reach inaccessible patients swiftly, carry out manual handling and CPR.
* Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
* Provide quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check.
Pay
£13.92-£14.50 per hour
