This position is specifically focused on the retail portfolio, currently spread across:
* Stretford Mall
* Stamford Quarter
* Millgate (Bury)
Although Union is the head office and will be your main place of work, you will often travel to the sites above to understand the assets and build relationships with the customer base (travel will be subsidized).
Job purpose:
This role is responsible for responding to our demand pipeline and letting vacant retail and leisure space by understanding customer needs and collaborating with the team to create a great experience.
What we’re looking for:
* A background in surveying, ideally in an agency role; we also consider Surveyors from other backgrounds like Asset Management who are keen to transition.
* A passion for retail/placemaking and development/redevelopment in communities.
* Strong relationship-building skills with customers and the ability to manage expectations and communicate clearly.
* Understanding of Salesforce (beneficial but not essential).
* MRICS qualification or working towards it (full study support provided).
What you’ll be doing:
* Manage enquiry pipeline, conduct viewings, instruct deals, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
* Handle all aspects of property customer account management, including lease renewals, expansions, relocations, rent reviews, and queries, while maintaining data accuracy.
* Explore all sales opportunities within the lifecycle of customer accounts to ensure retention, including creative structuring of terms and managing challenging conversations.
* Own and develop key customer accounts to drive retention and stakeholder relationships.
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a team approach to sales transactions.
* Develop relationships with retail agents and third parties to position Bruntwood as the preferred partner.
