Location: Langdon Hospital, Dawlish, Devon, EX7 0NR. Work in a range of healthcare premises, both new and existing buildings. Work independently with occasional collaboration with other trades. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and prioritise own workflow within agreed parameters with the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Problem‑solve, diagnose faults and find solutions.
* Install, repair and maintain physical assets.
* Maintain and repair Trust property and equipment.
* Work largely independently, with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrate competence in all aspects of plumbing and mechanical works.
* Plan and prioritise workload with the Maintenance Supervisor to support service needs.
* Comply with safe systems of work and Health & Safety regulations.
* Establish and maintain good relationships and effective team working with colleagues.
* Undertake surveys or audits, support acceptance and testing of new equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Demonstrated competence in plumbing and mechanical works.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location: Ivybridge and Kingsbridge area. Support individuals who have experienced stroke, their families and carers within a multidisciplinary team. The role is a 12‑month internal secondment opportunity.
