NEW exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Cleanliness Operative to join the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The location for this role is based in Kilkeel. This role is 37.5 hours per week and set to last 6 weeks minimum. Successful candidates must be reliable and flexible to work required shift patterns. Must currently hold a Category C1 driving licence as you will be required to transport the associated vehicles. In return we will offer you training and induction into the role, weekly pay, We will pay you £12.31 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.22 per hour on a Saturday and £20.80 per hour on a Sunday. The successful post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that ambulances, equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness. The post holder will prepare ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the safety and wellbeing of NIAS Staff and Patients. This will include cleaning, decontaminating, re- stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical). What We Need From You Currently hold a Category C1 driving license Experience working in a service-based role or department, such as Support Services.
