Overview
Healthcare Improvement Scotland is seeking to recruit a Senior Improvement Advisor in the Transformational Change – Mental Health Unit TCMH which is part of the Community Engagement and Transformational Change Directorate CETC. The CETC Directorate leads an extensive range of improvement programmes, collaborates with local, national and international networks, and aspires to be leaders in both thinking and practice in quality improvement and change methodology.
Programmes of Work
* Scottish Patient Safety Programme Mental Health and Core Standards
* Mental Health Renewal (Complex Mental Health)
* Mental Health Responsive Support (Delayed Discharges and “Coming Home”)
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading in the design and delivery of the Scottish Patient Safety Programme Mental Health and Core Standards programme. You will be able to demonstrate expertise in improvement science and applying a range of improvement and change methods within different contexts. Additionally you will possess a track record of working with a wide range of stakeholders in a health and social care setting. As a natural communicator, you will relish the opportunity to network effectively and motivate people to achieve change.
Qualifications / Skills
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and positive individual to credibly lead in the design and delivery of the Scottish Patient Safety Programme Mental Health and Core Standards programme. Experience of working in mental health, or an associated health or care sector would be useful. You should demonstrate expertise in improvement science and applying a range of improvement and change methods, and possess a track record of working with a wide range of stakeholders in a health and social care setting.
