Job Description
Enjoying £12.10ph, plus travel time and mileage, your natural flare of compassion, empathy and the desire to help others, will be an essential part of this role, which will include but is not limited to:
1. Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, when required.
2. Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.
3. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
4. Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
5. Transportation: Providing transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings. Giving them the freedom and choice when require.
Our Care Professional and Clients enjoy minimum of 1-hour visit, giving the valuable time together so both of you are relaxed without being rushed.
You will be matched to you client and will remain under their care, allowing you to build a rapport and familiarisation, to engage with each other and you will get to know how they like their to be delivered; from their personal care to what they enjoy as their hobbies and interests.
You will supporting them to stay at home with their creature comforts and familiar environments. Allowing them to continue living life their way, as comfortably as possible putting their wishes at the very heart of what you do.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients, providing their care in a dignified manner from start to finish, this companionship and stimulation with their daily activities, ensures their safety, comfort and maintenance of their emotional health and wellbeing.
This is not just care, it's Home Instead care!
Qualifications
The only essential skill and qualification is a Full Driving Licence .
Full paid training will be provided, as well as ongoing support and mentorship.
