Senior Building Surveyor required to provide surveyor and project delivery building surveying services.
You’ll Be Responsible For
* Preparing feasibility studies and recommendations.
* Scoping, estimating and presenting reports.
* Undertaking surveys, design and specification services.
* Respecting and helping deliver services in accordance with best practice (and all legislation) in relation to asbestos, health and safety etc.
* Preparing a timely and effective post contract administration and final account agreement.
* Taking personal responsibility for service delivery.
* Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
* Working with senior surveyors, associate directors and directors to construct bids for new work.
* Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the internal database.
* Assisting with new technology for data capture and reporting.
* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the consultancy business of Mace across all sectors.
You’ll Need To Have
* Previous building surveying experience in a consultancy environment.
* Technical knowledge and competency in building surveying.
* Good negotiation, presentation and report writing skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* A degree in Building Surveying or equivalent.
* Professional memberships i.e. MRICS/RICS.
