As an Audio & Network Technician across the Audio and Integrated Networks departments, you will
responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of audio and networking equipment in
our warehouse and supporting these systems on site.
The ability to work as part of the wider team and other departments and prioritise tasks are paramount
to the role. The skills and expertise you will learn in the role are valuable to other departments at
Creative Technology and you can expect to find times where you are required to work with these other
teams developing your own knowledge and teamwork.
Previous experience of live events, basic connectivity of AV equipment, RF systems, intercom systems
or IPv4 networking is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities Department
* Building and configuring audio systems including radiomics, playback machines and Dante
* networks.
* Basic configuration of mixing consoles and control equipment to ensure robust connectivity in both analogue and digital systems.
* Assisting with the prep and testing of large scale or complex audio systems.
* Check in, check out and maintenance of all rental stock.
* Packing prepped equipment into cases, ensuring they will not be damaged in transit and
* contain everything required to get the equipment working on site.
* Ensuring all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
* Sharing responsibility for maintaining tidy, efficient prep and warehouse areas.
* Actively engage with other departments when you find yourself with time to assist with their prep and equipment where your knowledge crosses over.
Projects
* Installing, operating and dismantling audio systems and networks on site.
* Assisting in loading and unloading trucks.
* Supporting all aspects of the project, regardless of department, to the best of your ability.
* Working closely with the staff and freelancers on site to deliver the project and learn from their experience and skills.
Other Responsibilities
* Constantly working to improve your knowledge of our equipment and the technology that drives it.
* Complete any and all training required by the company.
* Actively engage with the rest of the engineering teams and freelancers to gain knowledge and experience that may build your own capabilities.
* Make your line manager aware of any training or manufacturer demonstration opportunities that you come across.
* Uphold the high standards or delivery and professionalism expected by Creative Technology and our clients.
* You are expected to travel to site where applicable both in the UK and Worldwide
* Adhere to all company policies and processes.
* Assist other teams with the overall delivery of projects both on site and in the warehouse, and proactively find these opportunities when time permits.

* A passion for technology
* Ability to learn new technology, systems and processes from any source available. This may be formal training, user manuals, online resources or just getting hands on.
* High level of attention to detail
* Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
