About You
You are an experienced and passionate early years educator and assessor who:
* Holds a DfE-approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
* Holds a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
* Has proven experience supporting learners to successfully complete apprenticeship programmes
* Uses observations of practice and e-portfolio evidence to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviours, providing targeted support to enable timely completion
* Is confident delivering face-to-face group training, primarily from our Training Academy, and occasionally from nurseries or training venues (including Winchester)
* Clearly communicates apprenticeship standards and how learners can meet them successfully
* Is a strong advocate for safeguarding, prioritising the wellbeing of children, learners, and colleagues at all times
* Enjoys collaborative working, contributing to standardisation meetings, course reviews, and quality improvement activity
* Works effectively with Functional Skills Tutors and supports exam invigilation where required
