Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
5. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
6. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
7. Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
9. Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
10. Drive process improvements within the Accounting & Finance team to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Experience in management accounting within the not-for-profit sector or similar environment.
13. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
