Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new private sector business opportunities.
* Manage and grow existing client relationships, increasing spend and service offerings.
* Lead sales cycle from discovery to close.
* Develop and present tailored IT solutions with support from pre-sales and technical teams.
* Conduct market research and leverage networks for high-quality leads.
* Deliver client presentations and product demos.
* Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools.
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to team revenue.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and competitors to refine sales strategies.
Required Attributes
* At least 2 years of IT sales experience, preferably in an VAR, distributor, or vendor environment.
* Proven success in exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confidence in prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
* Experience with solution selling and complex proposals.
* Familiarity with CRM and digital sales tools.
* Located within commuting distance of Reading or Leatherhead, with ability to work up to 3 days remotely.
