We're looking for a Reactive Works Senior Supervisor to join our Highways team based in Bridgwater. In this role you'll play a vital role in overseeing daily reactive works operations in the Sedgemoor area. Location: Dunball Depot, Bridgwater – site based 5 days per week
Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Supervisor, you'll be working within the Reactive Works team, supporting them in delivering timely and effective highway maintenance solutions. You'll ensure safety defects are promptly addressed while nurturing a collaborative team environment.
Your day to day will include:
* Coordinating daily works and resources to meet safety standards and contractual requirements
* Managing depot operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
* Supporting your team through effective communication, guidance, and wellbeing initiatives
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders and emergency services to minimise network disruption
* Leading by example to promote a strong safety culture and inclusive workplace
What are we looking for?

* Have experience of working within the highways industry
* Enjoy nurturing and supporting team members to achieve their best
* Have strong communication skills across all levels
* Are comfortable using Microsoft programmes
* Hold an SSSTS qualification or higher
