The shift pattern for this post: Monday - Friday, 08:00-16:24, 1 hour break.
Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient Health Records service to patients in a ward environment to support effective clinical care.
* Ensure patients’ health records are administered and processed accurately and remain confidential.
* Provide cover in multiple wards as required and undertake duties such as reception of patients, answering telephone, appointment booking and maintaining demographic information on the patient management system.
Qualifications and skills
* Essential: previous clerical/reception experience and experience of working with the general public in a customer service environment.
* Good organisational, keyboard and communication skills.
* Proficient in the use of computer systems.
Location and flexibility
Please note this is a GGC wide post and can be moved to any location; initial base will be Gartnavel General Hospital.
