Overview
Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer. You will be required to provide support to help the client remain as independent as possible in their own home and out in the community. The client enjoys being outdoors and gardening, so an affinity for the outdoors would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Helping with everyday activities. The client enjoys getting out & about throughout the day.
* Assisting with life skills such as cooking and domestic duties.
* Providing support in the community and helping to access activities the client enjoys.
* Ensuring the client is safe within their home and the wider community.
* Being someone the client can rely on and a good companion.
* This role offers the chance to develop and gain new skills and knowledge.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Required: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Willing to operate the client’s vehicle.
* Experience with challenging behaviour is preferred and a willingness to learn how to manage the client’s needs is a must. However, no specific care experience is required as we offer full training on orientation.
About the role
As a Care Professional you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support. The position with be:
* Monday - 17:30–22:00
* Thursday - 17:00–22:00
* Friday - 08:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
* Sunday - 16:00–22:00

Additional Information
Due to the nature of the role, caring for clients in their own homes and assisting clients to access the community, we require all of our Care Professionals to have a suitable independent means of transport.
