Offer description

* Annual salary between £ 28,490 to £ 30,050 (up to 40hrs per week) PLUS an annual sleep allowance of between £ 3,150 and £ 5,250 (based on between 6 and 10 sleeps per month over 10.5 months

Your role will involve:

* Providing a nurturing environment for our young people in which their physical and emotional needs are met
* Creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional well-being.
* Engaging in recreational activities and educational programs to promote the children's development.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Developing individualised care plans based on each child's unique needs.
* Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure holistic care
* Providing leadership to junior staff
* Being a positive role model

Experience and Qualifications required:

* At least 1 year's relevant professional experience working with young people in a residential setting
* A Level 4 Diploma in Children & Young People Practitioner (or equivalent) or be close to completing it

· A compassionate and patient nature.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· The ability to work as part of a team.

· Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings.

· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

* A full clean manual driving licence held for at least 1 year

Pay: £28,490.00-£30,050.00 per year
